Green Onion Dip

We love green onion dip, but we don't like all the extra icky ingredients that are in the store-bought brands. So here is our homemade run at it:

Green Onion Dip

1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

2 Tablespoons mayonnaise

2 Tablespoons lemon juice, fresh-squeezed

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Himalayan pink salt + pepper, to taste

2 bunches green onions, ends trimmed

Add cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, + pepper to a medium bowl. Use a fork to mash + mix ingredients well until texture is smooth + uniform. Chop green onions. Reserving a bit for garnish, add the rest of the green onion to the cream cheese mixture. Stir together; taste + adjust seasonings as desired. Cover + refrigerate for at least 4 hours, up to 24 hours. Refrigerate reserved green onion in a separate airtight container. When ready to serve, top dip with green onion then serve with crackers.
